Arai Corsair-X Nicky Reset Unisex Motorcycle Helmet - Black/White/Red / X-Large

Arai introduces the Corsair-X Nicky Reset Helmet as a tribute to the late American legend Nicky Hayden. This helmet features the iconic "Reset and Push Harder" graphic that Nicky wore during his time with the Aspar Team in MotoGP, allowing riders to sport the classic number 69 in a beautifully detailed version of Arai's flagship helmet.

Continuing Arai's tradition of pushing the boundaries of helmet technology and rider protection, the Corsair-X Helmet is designed to not only guard against direct impacts but also minimize the effect of "glancing off" impacts. Arai achieves this by creating a stronger shell and smoother shape that is more likely to redirect impact energy rather than absorb it, thereby reducing the amount of force transferred to the body.

Constructed from Super Fiber and other special synthetic fibers developed for F-1 helmet visor panels, the Corsair-X Helmet is assembled and bonded by Arai experts. Specially-developed resin creates stronger bonds between shell materials with less weight, resulting in superb tensile strength and lighter weight. Additionally, the helmet is DOT Approved and meets FMVSS 218 Standards.

The Variable Axis System (VAS) shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair-X Helmet, with the shield mount position lower than most helmets. The dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal and securely holds the face shield closed. The X Type 12 air diffusers are longer than the Corsair V, working with the AirWing to improve stability and provide a 19% gain in efficiency.

The air intake vents of the Corsair-X Helmet have three positions (closed, half open, and fully open) and are easy to operate with gloved hands. They create a tight seal to decrease wind noise and water intrusion.
