Arai Quantum-X Helmet - Wave - 2XL

Improved Glance Off Ability - Achieved through an interior head liner that combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, the round oval shape of this helmet is specifically designed for riders with slightly wider heads rather than elongated ones. The Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, creating a smoother shell surface area in the critical temple region to reduce impact energy.

Enhanced Shield Latch - The VAS latch captures and securely holds the shield closed, preventing unexpected opening. Additionally, the larger latch allows for intuitive and seamless shield operation, along with a de-mist function.

QVF & QVR Intake/Exhaust Ducts - Equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts for superior air intake and exhaust performance while riding. The side vent also functions as an exhaust vent, even when the front shutter is closed on the top duct.

FCS® Cheek Pads - Featuring a contoured shape and multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam "spring," these pads cradle the face, making it easier to put on and remove the helmet, while also reducing wind noise.

Water Repellent ES Chin cover - Installed to enhance the Egg Shape of the helmet, this cover smooths airflow, increases mouth area exhaust, and reduces wind noise from below.

Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) Shell - This design combines multiple materials and techniques to deliver performance and affordability. The helmet comes with a VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield, which accepts the VAS-MV Pinlock lens. Additionally, it includes a ready-to-install Pinlock-120 lens.

Certifications - This helmet is certified under the DOT FMVSS No. 218 safety standard.
