The Quantum-X, purpose-built for the street, sets a new benchmark in comfort, quiet, stability, and ventilation. Arai applied its tireless 24-7 focus, previously devoted to race helmets, to design, refine, and adapt proven concepts to this new purpose. The Quantum series, known for its rounder end of the head shape spectrum, has always been the "go-to" choice for many riders. The new Quantum-X brings back that familiar shape in a feature-rich package. With a round oval shell designed for head shapes with an even balance between length and width, the Quantum-X also features a quick-release lever for side pod and faceshield, and a clear anti-fog Pinlock insert for all-season visibility. The QVF and QVR upper ventilation ducts offer more adjustment and better flow-through performance. It is DOT Approved and meets The FMVSS 218 Standard. Additionally, the Quantum-X features the ES chin cover, which increases exhaust from the mouth area while reducing wind noise, and is compatible with the VAS-V Pro Shade system. This helmet also meets the SNELL-2020 standard.
