Arai Corsair-X Vinales-6 Unisex Street Motorcycle Helmet

The Arai Corsair-X Helmet goes above and beyond in providing advanced helmet technology and rider protection. It is designed to not only protect against direct impacts, but also to minimize the forces from "glancing off" impacts. Arai has developed a stronger shell with a smoother shape that is more likely to redirect impact energy, rather than absorb it, decreasing the force transferred to the body. The VAS (Variable Axis System) side pod pivot cover is smaller in size and positioned lower on the shell to increase its potential to deflect impact energy.

This helmet is constructed from Super Fiber and special synthetic fibers developed for F-1 helmet visor panels, assembled and bonded by Arai experts. A specially-developed resin creates stronger bonds between shell materials with less weight, providing superb tensile strength. It is DOT approved and meets FMVSS 218 standards.

The Arai Corsair X Helmet features the exclusive VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods. The variable axis allows the shield mount position to be lower than most helmets, and the dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple removal. The VAS MAX Vision shield provides better visibility in all seasons and is standard with a clear anti-fog Pinlock insert.

Traditionally, shield mounting positions must remain relatively high, but the VAS (Variable Axis System) allows for shield opening and closing even with the lower shield position. This advanced system provides enhanced protection and usability for riders.
