The long-awaited replacement for the iconic Arai VX Pro-3 helmet has finally arrived in the form of the Arai VX Pro 4 Helmet. This dirt helmet is designed for serious off-road enthusiasts who demand the highest level of comfort and protection. The round shell shape, based on Arai's R75 Shape Concept, is optimized for strength, and the peak, mouth vent, and top vents are designed to break away upon impact, reducing the surface mass that could catch or bind.

The helmet features an intermediate oval shape that fits the majority of head shapes in North American markets. The consistently round and smooth shell maintains the Glancing Off shape concept, while the rounded chin bar ensures a compact shell length, reducing the likelihood of catching or digging during a spill.

Constructed with Super Fiber, the helmet provides 30% higher tensile strength than standard fiberglass, enhancing penetration resistance. It is DOT approved and meets FMVSS 218 standards. The Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell offers additional strength and protection.

Ventilation is also a key feature of the Arai VX Pro 4 Helmet. The chin bar vent grill is installed on a rounded chin bar and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. The vent cap is designed to break away from the chin bar upon impact. The top-rear-duct center brace also serves as a goggle-strap locator, and the diffusers can be quickly and easily removed or replaced by removing a single screw. The air outlets on the peak are made larger and are designed to break on impact, reducing the risk of sending energy into the helmet or causing excess rotational force.

In terms of safety features, the helmet is equipped with an emergency release cheek pad design that allows medical personnel easier access to an injured rider, reducing the chance of unintentional injury. Additionally, the removable neck roll facilitates easy cleaning and maintenance of the helmet.
