The logo duct functions effectively at low speeds and when the rider is in an upright position. It can be easily opened or closed with either summer or winter gloves, using a short-stroke lever located at the top. If the rider is unable to see the lever and the logo is in its normal position, then the duct is open.

The rear spoiler is positioned slightly more forward on the shell and is supplied with air from 3 ports within the shell. It efficiently draws in air and also smooths the airflow over the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting, particularly when overtaking at highway speeds. This results in significantly less rider fatigue.

The 3D ARAI logo duct, which is only 3.5 mm in depth, feeds two central 10 mm intake ports. It is designed to break away in the event of an impact.

The helmet is DOT Approved and meets FMVSS 218 Standards. It features an aerodynamic rear spoiler with a one-piece exhaust function. This one-piece aerodynamic rear exhaust/spoiler, operated by a 3-way switch, has been inspired by the DF-X2 of the Corsair-X, but has been redesigned for touring use. Manufactured to be as thin and light as possible, the aerodynamic rear spoiler is designed to crush or break away upon impact, therefore having no influence on protective performance.

The sliding chin vent actuating mechanism is thicker and easy to use with gloves. It is also designed to fit and connect a communication system easily on the shell exterior, without compromising the protection offered by the inner EPS liner. The helmet also features a 3-position (open, midway, and closed) sliding air-scoop chin vent, which allows for a large intake volume of air and has a replaceable filter.

The outer shell design outlines a stylish, organic shape and utilizes Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2) for lightweight strength and integrated side ducts. An extra layer of super fiber belting in the outer shell maintains rigidity in a crucial area while offering flat sides for easy fitment of an intercom system.
