In terms of aerodynamic performance, the RF-1400 has been developed and refined in SHOEI’s state-of-the-art, in-house wind tunnel facility from the very beginning stages of life. It boasts impressive improvements, including a 6% reduction in lift and a 4% reduction in drag compared to the RF-1200.

The RF-1400 provides a quiet riding experience without blocking the road’s informative sounds, thanks to its optimal shell aerodynamics, vortex generators, and all-new, airtight window beading that provides a wind and waterproof seal.

Ventilation performance is optimal in the RF-1400, with a balance between airflow and silence. The center/forehead vent has been relocated and equipped with an additional air intake hole, increasing the volume of cooling air entering the helmet.

With comfort in mind, the RF-1400 is equipped with a fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Interior System II, capable of dissipating sweat 2 times faster than traditional nylon interiors. The newly designed cheek pads offer greater comfort and reduced wind noise.
