The Corsair-X is the latest addition to the esteemed Arai lineup, featuring the VAS Max Vision Shield to greatly enhance air flow, ventilation, and visibility for all riding purposes. With larger adjustable air intake vents, the helmet now provides a significant increase in ventilation, while also improving sealing to reduce road noise and prevent water intrusion. Its Intermediate Oval head shape ensures a comfortable fit for a wide range of riders. The quick-release lever allows for easy faceshield removal, while the improved shield latch with de-mist latch position slightly cracks the shield open to prevent fogging. The clear anti-fog Pinlock insert ensures year-round visibility, and the helmet is DOT Approved and meets FMVSS 218 Standard. A removable neck roll with exhaust channels, chin curtain to block air intrusion, and removable temple and crown padding all contribute to the helmet's outstanding comfort and versatility. Additionally, the cheek pads feature emergency release tabs, and the peel-away ear pocket allows for the installation of speakers. The Corsair-X is crafted with a lightweight PB SNC2 shell that provides superb tensile strength.
