The Corsair-X, the latest iteration of Arai's most renowned helmet, incorporates the VAS Max Vision Shield to enhance airflow and visibility for all types of riding. The larger adjustable air intake vents not only increase ventilation, but also improve sealing to reduce road noise and water intrusion. It features a SNELL 2020 Intermediate Oval head shape, a quick-release lever for easy faceshield removal, and an improved shield latch with a de-mist latch position that slightly cracks the shield open. Additionally, it comes with a clear anti-fog Pinlock insert for all-season visibility, a removable neck roll with exhaust channels, and a chin curtain to block air intrusion.
The helmet also includes a fully removable anti-bacterial Eco-Pure liner, removable temple and crown padding, and cheek pads with emergency release tabs. It also has peel-away ear pockets for speakers and a lightweight PB SNC2 shell for superb tensile strength. The Corsair-X meets or exceeds D.O.T. and Snell standards and is designed with an Intermediate Oval Head Shape.
