It features a new Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-ScLc) shell design, prioritizing performance and affordability, and integrating the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system for easy changes and a rounder shell shape. The helmet includes a VAS Max Vision faceshield for improved visibility in all seasons and riding conditions. The VAS shield is smaller and lower, with adjustable air intake vents that improve sealing, reducing road noise and water intrusion. The long oval shell accommodates heads with pronounced length but reduced width. The quick-release lever for the side pod and faceshield, along with the anti-fog Pinlock insert, offer all-season visibility.
