Arai Corsair-X Helmet - Vinales-5 - Large

The Corsair is perhaps the most legendary name in the entire Arai lineup, long renowned as one of the most advanced, highest quality helmets available anywhere in the world. It represents the culmination of Arai's vast experience in helmet design and unwavering focus on rider protection. With features like the ingenious VAS shield mechanism, dramatically improved air flow, and ventilation, the Corsair-X has certainly earned its place as Arai's flagship model.

The Corsair-X features an intermediate oval shape that fits the majority of head shapes in the North American markets. It also includes an Internal Air Channel, which provides improved ventilation with an enhanced air extraction system, pulling hot/moist air from the eye port area through ducted channels behind the cheek pads that exhaust out the side cowl vents, keeping the rider cool and helping to reduce fogging. The Shield Latch utilizes the Variable Axis System (VAS) latch to capture and securely hold the shield closed to resist unexpected opening, and a dual-function lever releases both the side cover/pod and shield pin for quick and simple shield removal. The shield itself has a positive stop to resist unintentional opening, even in the de-mist position, but with a slight pull on the lift tab, the shield lifts with ease. The IC Duct5 utilizes a three-position slide gate to improve sealing for reduced noise and water intrusion.
